I accidentally created this product by looking for a solution to walking my trails at night without a headlamp that would disrupt my night vision, and without stringing electric lights down the trail. It started as glow in the dark tape on plastic plant stakes, and then my prototypes progressed. The great thing about this is that they glow all night long even with just being outside in normal daylight under full tree cover.

I chose to make these markers from epoxy resin because it will not break down and end up in the ocean the way plastics will. They don’t require batteries or electricity. The powder coated aluminum stakes are non-corrosive. It was important to me that these be eco-friendly and long lasting. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
